Marion Cockin was born in Wednesbury. She wrote her first story when she was 7 and started writing poetry when she was 16. She worked as an Assistant Librarian for Wolverhampton City Council. She has had poems published in magazines and national anthologies and is one third of the Nailmakers’ Daughters.
